Lantern Hollow

★★★★★ 4.7 Editor rating

Lantern Hollow is a slow, gorgeous adventure that I did not want to end. You wander a small town at dusk, talk to its odd residents, and slowly piece together why the lanterns keep going out. The art is hand-drawn and every scene looks like a postcard I wanted to save.

There's no combat and no timers. You explore, you solve gentle environmental puzzles, and you read a lot of lovely dialogue. Tapping to move and interact is all you need, so it's dead simple to control even one-handed in bed. That accessibility is part of the charm.

It's light on the battery too, which surprised me given how nice it looks. If you want something atmospheric to unwind with, this is my easy recommendation. Just don't expect a challenge — that's not what it's here for.
