Tower of Cards
Tower of Cards is a deckbuilding roguelike that got its hooks into me fast. You climb a tower floor by floor, building a deck as you go and adapting to whatever enemies and relics you stumble into. Each run is short enough to fit a coffee break, and losing never feels wasted because you always learn a combo you'll try next time.
The card art is clean and the icons are big enough to read without squinting, which matters on a phone. Everything is tap-based and turns are unhurried, so it plays beautifully in short sessions. I kept telling myself one more floor and then it was suddenly midnight.
It leans hard on strategy, so if you like games where a clever plan beats raw power, this delivers. The difficulty curve is fair, and unlocking new cards keeps the runs fresh for a long time.
